Eye on the Ball Vision opened to serve the local community in 2006 and moved to its current Zachary, LA location in 2016. We are a family-owned and operated business dedicated to serving members of the family from grandparents to grandchildren. We truly love caring for all members of the community and enjoy giving personal attention to each member of the family. Our Team

Dr. Patrick Tate

Dr. Patrick Tate is a 25 year veteran of optometry. He is from south Louisiana, a tiny town called Kaplan where he met his wife of 34 years, Angela Tate. They are the parents of five children and 4 grandchildren. Dr Tate is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and an alum of Louisiana State University. Dr Tate enjoys working with children and has coached swimming, basketball, and his main love baseball for over 30 years. He is an active member of the YMCA and an avid exercise enthusiast.

Angela Tate

Angela Tate has been the optical manager for the lifetime of Eye on the Ball Vision Clinic. She is a stylist expert and can answer all of your insurance questions. Angela specializes in the hard to please patient dedicating time and patience with each individual. She will not allow a patient to leave with glasses that do not flatter them. In her spare time, Angela loves to do family history work and is proud of her Cajun heritage.

Tori Tate Patty

Tori Tate Patty is the optical manager and master optician. She has recently become a mother for the first time to a sweet little girl, Remi Grace Patty. She is married to Austin Patty and together they live in Walker, LA. Tori has spent the majority of her childhood in Zachary and has many friend in class mates in the area. She is an expert in contact lenses as well as a frame stylist.

Brenda Dugas

Brenda Dugas has recently joined Eye on the Ball form the Zachary Driving Academy. We are pleased to have her and know that many of you know her from driving school. Come by and say hi! She loves her personal relationships with her students.
